Sausage rolls are perfect and delicious as a small snack. Easy to eat and just the right size for an in between meal for both young and old people. Use a plant-based sausage for a vegan option or add a little sauce for a more greasy version.
The sausage rolls are based on the soft dough mix. The soft dough is very easy to handle and is a 100% premix, where you only must add sugar, salt, yeast, oil and water. The dogh is easy to roll down and shape.
RECIPE
SAUSAGE ROLLS
1,000 g Credin Gluten Free Soft Dough
80 g Sugar
10 g Salt
40 g Yeast
960 g Water
40 g Vegetable oil
35-40 pcs. Sausages
PROCEDURE
Kneading time: 2 + 2 minutes
Add oil to the dough and knead for further 1 minute
Dough temp.: 26-28°C
Scaling weight: Roll down to 4 mm, add sausage and shape into a roll
Proving time: Approx. 40 min
Egg wash before baking and sprinkle with seeds for decoration
Oven temp.: 230-220°C (deck oven)
Steam: Normal at insert
Baking time: Approx. 15-20 min
Tip: Brush the sausage rolls with egg wash for a nice golden color.
