Full transparency – easy administration

At Credin, we simplify the complexity of certification requirements and sustainability standards – without time-consuming control and documentation processes. As an audited Sedex member, we uphold the highest industry standards, giving you complete peace of mind. With certifications such as BRCGS, RSPO, and RAC, we ensure responsible production and a well-managed supply chain.

As part of Orkla Food Ingredients, we benefit from well-documented methods, specialised tools, and a systematic approach that ensures effective implementation and consistently high standards. At the same time, we develop our own programmes tailored to our specific needs and industry requirements, making a real difference in our daily work.

Credin is an audited Sedex member

We are not just a member – we are an audited Sedex member, verified through a SMETA audit. This means that a third party has assessed and confirmed our commitment to minimising environmental impact, ensuring workplace health and safety, upholding ethical business practices, and maintaining high social and environmental standards throughout our supply chain.

We also set high expectations for our suppliers and prefer to work with those who are Sedex members and audited. This streamlines the process and ensures that we collaborate with partners who share our values.

A systematic approach to environment, health, and safety (EHS)
EHS is a central part of our Sedex work and ensures that we continuously improve our environmental and social responsibility. We work systematically to minimise our environmental impact, strengthen the working environment and create the best conditions for our employees.

At Credin, employee well-being is a top priority – both physically and mentally. That's why we maintain a close, ongoing dialogue with our employees and invest in tools and robotics to ease workflows. At the same time, we promote well-being through initiatives such as a canteen scheme, fresh fruit provision, and exercise programmes.

Proven accountability throughout the supply chain

Sustainability should be an advantage – not a burden – for our customers. That’s why we use only certified cocoa and palm oil and set high standards for our suppliers regarding responsible production, traceability, and compliance with international environmental and labour regulations.

We are happy to help you find more sustainable alternatives where it makes sense – for example, by adjusting ingredient compositions or offering certified solutions that meet labelling requirements. At the same time, we ensure that all necessary registrations are in place, so you can easily document your sustainability efforts and ensure correct labelling of your products.

Towards even greater transparency – one footprint at a time

At Credin, we know that responsibility starts with insight, which is why we are mapping the climate impact of our raw materials.

For many companies, carbon footprinting is still in its early stages and we want to lead the way with a systematic and data-driven approach. We are implementing programmes to ensure accurate and transparent registration of our carbon footprint so that we can document and optimise our efforts in the long term.

Transparency is essential to maintain trust. That's why our work is based on concrete data and well-documented methods that give us and our customers a solid foundation for making sustainable choices.
