We are not just a member – we are an audited Sedex member, verified through a SMETA audit. This means that a third party has assessed and confirmed our commitment to minimising environmental impact, ensuring workplace health and safety, upholding ethical business practices, and maintaining high social and environmental standards throughout our supply chain.
We also set high expectations for our suppliers and prefer to work with those who are Sedex members and audited. This streamlines the process and ensures that we collaborate with partners who share our values.
A systematic approach to environment, health, and safety (EHS)
EHS is a central part of our Sedex work and ensures that we continuously improve our environmental and social responsibility. We work systematically to minimise our environmental impact, strengthen the working environment and create the best conditions for our employees.
At Credin, employee well-being is a top priority – both physically and mentally. That's why we maintain a close, ongoing dialogue with our employees and invest in tools and robotics to ease workflows. At the same time, we promote well-being through initiatives such as a canteen scheme, fresh fruit provision, and exercise programmes.

We are happy to help you find more sustainable alternatives where it makes sense – for example, by adjusting ingredient compositions or offering certified solutions that meet labelling requirements. At the same time, we ensure that all necessary registrations are in place, so you can easily document your sustainability efforts and ensure correct labelling of your products.

BRCGS
BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standard) is a globally recognised food safety standard for food manufacturers and their suppliers. We hold an AA-level BRCGS certification.

Gluten free and BRCGS
Credin A/S is BRCGS Gluten Free certified under the Gluten Free Certification Program, Issue 3. This demonstrates that all our gluten free products comply with strict management requirements and contain a maximum of 20 ppm gluten. This certificate provides our customers with the opportunity to apply for permission to add the Crossed Grain symbol on the packaging. The crossed Grain symbol is the most recognized gluten free symbol in Europe.
RSPO
The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a non-profit organisation that promotes the growth and use of sustainable palm oil. By being certified by the RSPO Supply Chain Certification System, you support the creation of sustainable and transparent production throughout the supply chain until the product reaches the consumer.
Credin A/S is RSPO certified, and we only use RSPO certified palm oil / palm kernel oil. Our trademark licence number is: 4-0602-15-100-03.

Sedex (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) is a global platform that promotes responsible and ethical trade in supply chains. The certification helps companies ensure good working conditions, environmental sustainability and transparency in their production.
As an audited Sedex member, Credin has undergone a comprehensive SMETA audit (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit), which means that we are not only registered in the Sedex system, but also actively document and comply with strict requirements within labour, environment, business ethics and health & safety.

KAT (Kontrollierte Alternative Tierhaltungsformen) is the leading certification for traceability and animal welfare in egg production in Germany. The certification ensures that eggs originate from controlled production systems with high standards of animal welfare and transparency in the supply chain.
